The Municipal Assembly has held a Staff Durbar to engage staff on matters concerning the effective functioning of the Assembly, staff welfare, workplace performance, and the continuous improvement of service delivery.
Addressing staff at the durbar, the Coordinating Director Alhaji Boffour Ahmed Haruna emphasized the importance of peace and unity among staff as essential factors in creating a conducive working environment. Staff were encouraged to work together, respect one another, and contribute positively towards achieving the objectives of the Assembly.

The Coordinating Director also stressed the need for punctuality and adherence to timelines in the performance of official duties. Staff were encouraged to manage their time effectively, complete assigned tasks within the required timelines, and demonstrate commitment and professionalism in their various roles.

The meeting further focused on ways of moving the Assembly to the next level of development and improving its overall performance and service delivery. Staff were encouraged to take ownership of their responsibilities, embrace teamwork, improve productivity, and contribute innovative ideas that can enrich the operations and image of the Assembly.

A key feature of the durbar was an open forum, which provided staff with the opportunity to freely express their concerns, challenges, opinions, and suggestions regarding the workplace and the operations of the Assembly. Issues raised by staff were discussed, with appropriate responses, clarifications, and possible solutions provided to address the concerns.
The engagement served as an important platform for strengthening communication between management and staff, promoting transparency, and encouraging staff participation in institutional development.
