LET US SUPPORT THE ONE DISTRICT, ONE FACTORY PROJECT, DCE TELLS TRADITIONAL AUTHORITIES

The District Chief Executives for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai District , HON ALFRED AMOAH has argued the traditional leaders in his district to help accomplish president Nana Addo’s vision of one district, one factory project and planning for food and Job Programmed in order to reduce the high rate of the youth unemployment in the district .
HON ALFRED AMOAH made the call when he paid a courtesy call on the Sefwi- Bekwai traditional council last Wednesday. The DCE used the occasion to thank Nananon for their massive support when he was nominated for the position by the president.
The DCE also entreated Nananom to support the government in the fight against the galamsey menace to save the environment from further degradation. He hinted Nananom of a plan of the MP and the Assembly to establish nursing training college in the district, come September 2017.
The Hon DCE consequently asked for their prayers and cooperation to push the developmental agenda of the district forward. The DCE was accompanied by the District coordinating Director, Mr. John Nana Owu, the district information officer Mr. Francis Akowuah Ghansah, and the district works Engineer, Mr. Henry Amissah. Other were Mr. Appiah Kubi and Mrs. Janet Oppong Danso, constituency secretary and women organizer respectively of the ruling NPP.
In his welcome address the acting president of the council, Nana Kwadwo Twum II, tanked the DCE and his entourage for the visit and the honor done them and pledged their infringing support for his administration. Nana Twum urged the DCE to tackle the issue of armed robbery and sanitation that has be deviled the district in recent times and which were of great concern to Nananom .
Nana also on behalf of the council pledged their full support in the fight against the galamsley menace, adding that it has impacted negatively on their farmlands and sources of drinking water.
