A training session on the Smart Workplace Portal (smartworkplace.gov.gh) was held on 16th October 2025 at the Municipal Assembly Hall. The session was attended by two representatives from the Local Government Service (LGS) and one MIS Officer from the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC). The training aimed to equip staff with practical knowledge of the Smart Workplace platform and its key functions, including e-Leave applications, document and correspondence management, virtual communication, and workflow automation.
During the program, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) gave a brief speech on upcoming events and emphasized that it is compulsory for all staff to implement and make use of the Smart Workplace system after the training. At the close of the session, the Acting Director commended the staff for their efforts and active participation and encouraged them to begin using the portal to enhance efficiency and improve service delivery within the Assembly.
