On Monday March 6 2023, the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Assembly celebrated the 66th. Independence Day Anniversary, which commemorates the struggle and attainment of Independence and self-governance from British colonial rule.
The event was graced by the Member of Parliament, Municipal Co-ordinating Director, Education Director, Chiefs and Religious leaders, staff and Heads of department, Assembly Members, Schools and head teachers, Security officers and Market queens. Etc.
The event was marked with patriotic displays, cultural performances, and speeches that highlighted the significance of Ghana’s Independence and the importance of unity, strength, and purpose in moving the country forward. The occasion served as a reminder of Ghana’s rich history and the progress made since gaining independence, as well as a reflection on the challenges and aspirations for the future.
