The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Hon. Sebastain Obeng addressed the General Assembly at a meeting held at the Municipal Assembly Hall, providing updates on various activities and programmes of the Assembly.
The address covered the security situation, the Assembly’s financial outlook and revenue mobilisation, as well as ongoing infrastructure and development projects across the Municipality. The MCE also highlighted the inauguration of eight (8) Zonal Councils and Unit Committees, aimed at strengthening grassroots participation and local governance.
Updates were further provided on the education and agricultural sectors, social intervention programmes, and activities of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) to improve access to essential services.
The meeting reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to promoting sustainable development, improving service delivery and working collaboratively with stakeholders to enhance the wellbeing of residents.
