20 females trained on Processing and Packaging of Plantain Chips

During the fourth quarter of 2023, the Women in Agricultural Unit (WIAD) through the support of the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai municipal Assembly trained 20 females in processing and packaging of spicy plantain chips.
The participants who were mainly plantain chips sellers were taken through the various steps in processing and packaging of the plantain into chips.

The feedback from the participants depicts the fact that the training has enhanced their knowledge in processing and packaging of plantain chips and that its adoption will help improve their plantain chips business and improve their income. They expressed their appreciation to department for organizing such educative training and that they will practice whatever they were thought during the training to make meaningful impact in their business.
